Children’s Birthday Parties

Le Dolci has a great beginner’s cupcake decorating class that’s perfect for your special little birthday guys and gals. We also offer craft options that will only add to the fun and excitement of their party. Read our blog post about the creative craft activities to choose from.

Cupcake Decorating Fun that we can offer you

At this absolute beginner’s class, your guests will work with tools that cake makers use to create their own edible works of art. They will work with fondant and professional food colouring to make simple shapes and decorations for their little bundles of goodness.

After working with fondant, they will then experiment with our mouth-watering buttercream icing. Using the deliciously smooth buttercream icing they will test out different nozzles and colors to make wonderful swirls, seashells, grass and more.

All of this will be done using our freshly baked cupcakes: our cupcakes are simple and delicious. Our smooth and sinfully delicious buttercream icing is made with real butter.  We only bake with all natural food products, no preservatives or additives.  All of this birthday party fun will be done at our wonderful and intimate studio located in the heart of downtown Toronto. The studio will be booked privately for your group.

Goodies included:

• We will provide a cupcake cake for the birthday boy or girl and their guests to enjoy while they decorate.
• We also have a dress up box where the birthday boy or girl and their guests can choose different props to wear.  There are  feathered boas, Hawaiian flower necklaces, beads, a cowboy hat and other fun embellishments.
• We can provide you with some catering so you can snack during your party or you can bring in your own goodies for the kids to enjoy.
• All icing sugar explosions are included.

One Hour Class

• The cost for our one (1) hour class is $50 + HST per guest.
• You must have a minimum of eight (8) guests to book this class.
• There are no group discounts available for our one (1)  hour class.
• Each participant will receive six (6) cupcakes to decorate and take home.
• Cost includes all supplies, buttercream and fondant, food colouring, cutouts, nozzles and shaping tools, all candy and other decorating materials,  boxes for everyone to take their cupcakes home in, and set up and instruction.

Two Hour Class

• The cost for our two (2) hour class is $80 + HST per guest.
• Each participant will receive twelve (12) cupcakes to decorate and take home.
• Cost includes all supplies, buttercream and fondant, food colouring, cutouts, nozzles and shaping tools, all candy and other decorating material,  boxes for everyone to take their cupcakes home in, and set up and instruction.
• We offer a 10% discount for group bookings of eight (8) people or more.

Are we nut free?

• While our cupcakes are nut free, our studio is NOT nut free since we do make other treats that contain nuts.

Terms and Conditions

• A minimum of ten (10) days notice is required for private party cancellations upon which 50% of the deposit will be refunded
• Any notification less than ten (10) days will forfeit 100% of the deposit
