Le Dolci

FAQ

Q. How can I order cupcakes?

A. Give us a ring and we can take your order -our cupcakes are $2.50 each or for customised cupcakes they can range from $3.00 to $5.00-see some of our examples on our corporate cupcake page!

Q. How are your classes different than any others in the city?

A. Well, there are lots of places to take classes but some places ask that you buy equipment for each class and bake your own cakes to decorate. These extra purchases end up costing you more than what you signed up for; & they don’t tell you this when you sign up!

We’ve sampled some of these classes and had to bake and bring our own cakes & buy many supplies like piping bags, icing & nozzles. Some of our classmates spent lots of money on tools they would not normally use again (luckily we had our own). Some places also ask you to take soiled utensils with you to wash at home.

The difference is that at Le Dolci’s classes you just need to bring one thing – yourself! Everything is supplied for you and you leave with 12 cupcakes fully decorated in a lovely cake box. You don’t need to tidy nor buy any products or do any pre-baking to attend, just bring your creativity.

Q. Where are Le Dolci’s classes held?

A. We hold classes at our downtown studio and we travel to different locations for special occasions. Our studio space is located within steps of King & Portland, right in the heart of downtown Toronto, steps to lots of great cafes, restaurants and galleries. We are looking at venues in other areas of Toronto, suggestions welcome – if you want a class in your neck of the woods.

Q. I am visiting Toronto to attend your class. Where do I stay and what should I do?

A. Welcome to Toronto! We are right in the trendy King Street West neighbourhood and are within steps to the city’s best restaurants, hotels and things to do. Contact us and we can assist you with organizing your trip – staying anywhere in the downtown core is fine.

Q. Do you host any classes in any other languages?

A. We will be hosting classes for Chinese and Japanese tourists this year and will have a translator present so do look out for these classes on our site.

Q. Do I need to bring anything to the class?

A. Bring your creativity and an apron.

Q. What is your class cancelation/refund policy?

A. We require one week’s notice for cancelling a class to obtain a full refund.
