We adore the quaint neighbourhood of Leslieville, with its treasure chest of foodie options! Accesible by streetcar and sandwiched between Riverside and Beaches in the east end of the city, Leslieville is an enclave that blends the trendy with the history and nostalgia of old town Toronto with its great restaurants, bakeries, cheese shops, and tea spots. We especially love the seasonal scramble at our favourite brunch spot, Table 17, on Queen Street East! There’s nothing better than having a weekend brunch with a bellini here at this establishment, where the staff is fabulous. We’re looking forward to our next visit where we might try some of their other brunch items, including cheese toasts, Neapolitan eggs, and their pain doré French toast. Table 17 has a great menu with a focus on local and seasonally fresh ingredients, and it’s well worth the trek out east from our studio in the west. They have a great Twitter and Facebook page, so follow, ‘Like’, and check out their site and menu here.
