Recently we picked up an amazing book entitled “The Book of Awesome” by Neil Pasricha; such an interesting-read! It brought smiles and laughter the entire time we were at the book store, which caused us to look like complete idiots with those huge smirks on our faces. Everything in that book was so true and he touched upon topics that we tend to forget being grateful for.
Some examples of “awesome things” from the book were: 1. Wearing underwear just out of the dryer, 2. Being the first table called up for the dinner buffet at a wedding, 3. Watching The Price Is Right when you’re home sick, 4. When the vending machine gives you two things instead of one, and 5. When cashiers open up new checkout lanes at the grocery store.
After going through the entries, we were inspired to come up with our own list of awesome things too! With this book, we can be more appreciative of everyday simple things that bring happiness to us. To brighten up your day, pick up “The Book of Awesome” from the book store and you’ll understand why we’re so fond of this book 🙂
