Day 3, well it was actually Day 1 with the whole group! We got to meet our new friends from around the globe and share some good laughs and LOTS of sweets at our first class: croissants and pain au chocolat.
Our hosts at the school La Cuisine Paris were wonderful and we made too many croissants that we are still trying to pawn them off to taxi drivers and neighbours.
After our croissant and macaron experimenting in the kitchen we went for a Sweet Tour of Paris with Flavors of Paris. Our wonderful guide Cecile took us to Saint Germain des Pres for more sweets! We tasted macarons, had French cider, the most delicious and thin and perfect salted caramel crepes, gelato, French bread and chocolat.
It was a truly sweet day and we are lucky to have such a great school and tour leaders around us!
