Le Dolci, Toronto’s newest fun, food education studio offers a Mommy/ Daddy & Me cupcake decorating class that gives parents and their little ones a chance to show off their creative side. In small classes, parents and their children will learn some simple techniques to decorate yummy vanilla cupcakes to spoil the family.
The Mommy/ Daddy & Me classes are one hour in length and are usually held in the morning. At the end of each sugary fun class each Mommy/ Daddy and child will take home a pretty little box full of six scrumptious cupcakes decorated with our delicious buttercream icing and some fondant creations that will beat any “Cake Boss” cake.

Le Dolci, Toronto’s newest fun, foodie studio located just minutes from Church Street will host ten Pride-tastic cupcake decorating classes complete with fondant, buttercream icing, boas, body paint and rainbow colors.Jamie Taberrer, editor of Gay Times Magazine in the UK says, “A gayer afternoon I’ve never had, it was quite literally the gayest few hours I have had in my entire life.” For the last two years Le Dolci was located in London, UK’s trendy Notting Hill location. Now located back in owner Lisa’s hometown of Toronto, the PRIDE Disco Queen Cupcake Decorating Classes are a must this Pride.
Official Partners of Pride 2011, these classes are perfect for any down time visitors to the city may have. The fun at Le Dolci will take place in their bright and airy studio on King Street West (at Portland).
With Gaga playing on repeat, all participants in body and face paint like Ziggy Stardust – the hands-on, two-hour session is not to be missed. At the end of class, each participant takes home twelve of their own cupcakes to share with other Pride partygoers.
Owner, Lisa says, “Our classes are a creative environment where people can experiment with food coloring, fondant and all tools to decorate cupcakes. They also get a chance to work with butter cream icing, using piping bags and fun piping nozzles to create lovely swirls, twirls and special effects with these bags full of sugar goodness.”
