Day 1: Cinnamon buns
Cinnamon buns - get ready for Sunday morning in bed with freshly baked buns made by your kiddo.
Day 2: Twisted Breads
We will use dough to make the cutest little breads in the shape of animals and fun twists.
Day 3: Cartoon Cake
If you are familiar with the baking world, you have probably seen these fun-looking 2D effect cakes that look like a vintage comic or a cartoon. These 2D comic cakes have been around for a while but seem to be getting more and more popular. Your kiddos will love it.
Day 5: Rainbow Cake with homemade Sprinkles & Bake Sale
Are there any kids who don't love rainbows and sprinkles? Campers will decorate their own rainbow cakes. In the afternoon we will be hosting a charity bake sale, all proceeds going to the community center in our neighborhood.
What else happens at our camp?
🧘♂️ Peaceful mornings with meditation and stretching
🎵 Music & outdoor activities like scavenger hunts, park visits and water fights.
🌈 Each Friday we host a bake sale for charity. We teach your kids how to create the menu, cost items, market and sell the items to the neighbours walking by; last year we raised $1500 for charity!🎈 Starting on the Monday, kids plan menu ideas, start thinking about marketing, pricing and work on displays and signage all week. We then sell the baked goods on Fridays for parents/neighbours to enjoy. Last year we raised $1500 for our charity of choice and the kids had a blast!
