A culinary adventure with Chatelaine Magazine to PEI

Lobster fishing, food styling, chef’s dinners and culinary classes happening this August in PEI with @chatelainemag and us! Our sister company Foodie-Trips.com is hosting the trip with a Chatelaine editor. We will stay in a historic hotel, drink local cocktails and get our hands dirty in one of Canada’s most famous kitchens. We will also visit the beach and eat lots of seafood.

NEWS: Foodie Adventure to San Francisco & Napa Valley – May 2013

BREAKING NEWS: Mark your Calendars!
Our next Sweet Foodie Adventure will be to San Francisco and the Napa Valley from May 19-24th, 2013.

We will visit some of the Bay Areaโ€™s best food artisans including Miette where we’ll sample a slice of their Raspberry Tomboy cake (see pic), then head for 3 days and two nights to Napa to taste wines, olive oils, have hands on fun and dine at Thomas Keller’s world famous restaurants.

Paris Love: Day 4 – Sweet Walking tour and croissant and pain au chocolat class

Day 3, well it was actually Day 1 with the whole group! We got to meet our new friends from around the globe and share some good laughs and LOTS of sweets at our first class: croissants and pain au chocolat.

Our hosts at the school La Cuisine Paris were wonderful and we made too many croissants that we are still trying to pawn them off to taxi drivers and neighbours.

After our croissant and macaron experimenting in the kitchen we went for a Sweet Tour of Paris with Flavors of Paris. Our wonderful guide Cecile took us to Saint Germain des Pres for more sweets! We tasted macarons, had French cider, the most delicious and thin and perfect salted caramel crepes, gelato, French bread and chocolat.

It was a truly sweet day and we are lucky to have such a great school and tour leaders around us!
