Easter is coming

What is your favourite memory of Easter, mine was getting dressed up in a new dress grandma would buy us, then going to church and coming home to open up Easter eggs, the Italian ones had little prizes in the bottom. We would then go to a family member’s for a BIG italian lunch! Lamb was on the menu and it was (and still is) a big family affair.

Aunties and Uncles would give us chocolates and toys and grandma always had a little envelope of Easter money in tow. It was and still is a very special time of year for our family. This Easter we will be celebrating with our family in Italy and also checking in our Italian friends who are hosting our culinary adventure this October.

In the shop we will have some chocolate fun, Easter cookies, macarons and easter cupcakes for you to give to your little and loved ones. Pop in and say hi and show us your pretty Easter Sunday outfit. We’re at 1006 Dundas Street West, downtown Toronto right across from Trinity Bellwoods Park.

Macaron DayTO at Le Dolci with Rosewood Winery tastings

Get your walking shoes on and check out all of the participating bakeries taking part in this wonderful day. In support of a great charity all of the fun on the day will support Red Door Shelter.

We’ve added a little extra sweetness to our macaron day fun, next Wednesday March 20th, we will be sampling Rosewood Estates Winery ‘s 2008 Mead Royale paired with our honey lemon macaron of the day!

Things We Love: now serving Tealish tea at our little shop

We’re excited to announce that we carry tea from tealish! If you’re a fan of tealish or loose-leaf tea in general, you can now enjoy a warm cup of delicious tea from our shop.

The selection of flavours available:
