2024 Summer Camp for Kids - 5 DAY CAMP

Do your kids need a creative baking outlet this summer? Le Dolci's Culinary Camp is in its 13th year of bringing fun to mini chefs!  Sign up your children and tweens to bake and decorate a variety of delicious treats while having fun!

Class is held Monday - Friday at 12 Sousa Mendes St from 9:00am-3:30pm

• Ages: ideal for kids 7-11 years old
• early drop off/ late pick up from 8am-4pm available, inquire for additional cost

What can they expect:

• Snacks and delicious lunches will be provided
• Baking activities
  
• meditation and stretching each morning
• Campers will run a bake sale on Friday afternoon, proceeds to go to a charitable organization
• music & outdoor activities 
  

Baking Schedule:

• Day 1: Garbage Cookies, & Cinnamon buns 
• Day 2: Twisted Breads & Fondant figurines
• Day 3: Comic Slice cake& Fondant figurines
• Day 4: Build a focaccia garden& Royal icing sprinkles
• Day 5: Carved Heart Rainbow cake& Homemade SPRINKLES

•  EACH FRIDAY THE KIDS HOST A BAKE SALE! To support our neighbours at the George Chuvalo Neighbourhood Centre (on our street). 
  

Starting on the Monday, kids plan menu ideas, start thinking about marketing, pricing and work on displays and signage all week. We then sell the baked goods on Fridays for parents/neighbours to enjoy. Last year we raised $1500 for our charity of choice and the kids had a blast! Check out a fun post here.
