Advanced Piping Techniques is a class that will teach you how to master piping techniques using different methods and piping tips. Each student will bring home their small decorated cake.
Discover the mysteries of the new “modernist cuisine” movement learning new and delicious ways to manipulate food products. Includes techniques such as spherification, powderizing, gelification. Learn to use sodium alginate, agar agar and tapioca maltodextrin.
Learn to arrange your own choux pastry balls, filled with pastry cream into a traditional French tower. Once complete, learn to work with sugar and master the technique of spinning hot sugar for decoration. Each student brings home their sweet treats to enjoy and share with friends and family (or not).
A special evening to celebrate the art and food of Michelangelo. Chefs will prepare a delicious five-course meal inspired by the 16th century drawings of Michelangelo. They take the artist’s sketched shopping list filled with Renaissance ingredients and update them into a cohesive meal of Italian classics with wines to match.
Guests are encouraged to come and eat, drink and share in their love of good food and conversation.
