What a weekend last weekend was. The sun was out (& clouds), the cakes were out, and so were 400 bakers and the the Le Dolci community. Thank you for coming, baking, and picnicking with us.
A heartfelt and huge thank you to everyone who made the Cake Picnic possible.
To our main sponsors the CityPlace & Fort York BIA, who backed this event before a single cake was cut, we couldn't have done it without you. To our team, who showed up early, stayed late, and kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes, thank you for your time and energy.
Chef Steph and Chef Megan baked a few gorgeous cakes too (did you see the duck cake on Breakfast Television?).

And just like that, it's fall
Here's the thing about Le Dolci: we don't really stop baking once the picnic's over. We just switch seasons.
Our amazing 5 Day Masterclass students have been in the kitchen this week working through amazing cake and piping techniques for 5 hours daily -that's a lot of cake!
Our fall classes start this weekend, and they're built for real beginners just as much as people who already know their way around a mixing bowl.
