Why challah is the perfect beginner bread
Challah is enriched with eggs and a little oil, giving it a beautiful golden crust and pillowy interior that's remarkably forgiving compared to sourdough or baguettes. What to expect
You'll learn to mix and knead an enriched dough by hand, understand yeast and proofing, practice the classic 3- and 6-strand braid, and you'll take home a fresh-baked loaf plus the confidence to do it again at home.
