Read about my first day as an intern at Le Dolci Culinary Classroom in Toronto

Hey Toronto, Read about my first day as an intern at Le Dolci!

Hey, I am Athulya Shanavas, a post grad Public Relations Corporate Communications student from Centennial College.

Arriving at Le Dolci for my first day as an intern, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The air was filled with tempting scents, and every corner seemed to whisper promises of delightful flavours. Amidst the gentle hum of activity, the sound of giggles added to the cozy ambiance. It was a simple yet heartwarming introduction to the world of baking.

Soon, I found myself interacting with a family of four from Ohio who spent their first Monday morning in Toronto, enjoying their spring break, baking together at Le Dolci.

Chef Munira guided both parents and their two boys through the class and they created delectable doughnuts. The 11-year-old was baking doughnuts for the first time and expressed his love for Cinnamon Sugar flavour which the little round centres were rolled in.

It was a great first day treat to see this family enjoy a class, and a great way to start my internship at Le Dolci. I am happy to meet more families and learn more about this small, female owned business and tell you more about my time here. Stay tuned for more!

Want to have a similar experience? Le Dolci Culinary Classroom has doughnut classes 2-3 times a month and they are for any level of student.
