For those of you who got a ticket, we hope you're getting your recipes, designs and ovens ready for some cake magic to happen. At our first Cake Picnic we had the most beautiful cakes on display and not only were they gorgeous they were oh so delicious.

Here's a bit more info for your Cake Picnic experience to run smoothly.
Details of our second Cake Picnic!
Date: Saturday September 27, 2025.
Hours: 10am - 2pm.
After the picnic this area has a multitude of shops and restaurants for you to enjoy. There will even be some coupons in your goody bag from one of our sponsors
The picnic starts at 10am so give yourself enough time to find the venue via public transit, get parking, get settled in and be ready for the fun.
What do I bring?
We're trying to be as green as possible for this picnic, our last one was a great success with very little litter at the end of it!
1. Bring your cake loving self, your Cake and your Cake Name Card, see a sample of one used last time Canva link if you want to use this template.
2. Bring a cake cutter -people brought the prettiest cutters at the last picnic.
3. Bring your favourite fork/spoon to enjoy your cake with.
4. Bring your favourite blanket or shawl to place on the ground so you can enjoy your cake on the grassy area around the cake activity zone.
What do we do at the picnic?
We have had the wonderful support of the CityPlace And Fort York BIA and a few other sponsors (see photo) this year so we have fun things for you!

Our first picnic was magical. All attendees baked with heart, shared with passion and made the picnic one filled with kindness and smiles and the cakes were WOW!
As event organizers we do our best to facilitate this gathering of like-minded cake enthusiasts and want to keep everyone safe. Read the full waiver again if you need a reminder of your role and responsibility as a participant of the picnic.
