Culinary Baking Instructor
Location: 12 Sousa Mendes, Toronto Ontario located in the Junction Triangle, West Toronto
Position Type: Freelance. Depending on classes shifts are on weekdays for corporate, weekends and evenings.

Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Culinary Baking Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in the culinary arts, with a specific focus on baking. This individual will play a crucial role in educating and inspiring aspiring bakers, imparting both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. A successful candidate will have industry experience, a valid food handler's certificate, and smart serve certification.

Responsibilities:

Classroom Instruction: Conduct engaging and informative baking classes for students, utilizing effective teaching methods. Demonstrate proper baking techniques, share industry insights, and encourage hands-on learning experiences. Industry

Expertise: Share personal industry experiences and stay updated on current trends and advancements in the culinary and baking field. Bring real-world examples into the classroom to enhance the practical understanding of baking concepts. Safety and

Compliance: Emphasize and enforce food safety protocols in the kitchen. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations Professional Development: Stay current with industry certifications and advancements, continuously enhancing personal and professional knowledge.

Requirements: Minimum 2 years industry experience. A plus if held you held a management position or teaching role. Valid food handler's certificate.

Smart serve certification.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to create and deliver effective and engaging learning experiences. Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles. Passion for teaching and inspiring like minded individuals.
