Our city of Toronto is humming back to life. After a year+ of virtual gatherings, my inbox is once again filling up with invitations to birthday parties, backyard BBQs, weddings and "just because we can" celebrations.

I'm saying yes to all of them! And, I'm bringing cake. After all, as Julia Child once said, "a party without cake is really just a meeting."
