Come along to our Cocktails Masterclass
This is a great beginner class for people 19+ looking to improve their bar-tending skills! You will get to learn how to mix three different cocktails and get to relax and enjoy your cocktails Wow!
This is a 90 minute class
Most of the components for the cocktails will be pre-made by the chef instructor, so you can get right to the fun mixing and tasting part.
In this class, you will learn:
• About batching cocktails for parties
• How to make a shrub and what a shrub is
• How make 3 types of cocktails
• How to shake, stir and muddle
• How to use essential bar equipment to achieve a successful cocktails
You will go home with:
• New understanding of different type of cocktails
• An understanding on how to replicate the recipes and
achieve successful cocktails
• Recipes for 3 cocktails and their components (emailed to you at the time of booking).
All ingredients and equipment for your cocktail course are provided, you do not need to bring anything with you other than your government issued ID. The teacher will ensure that you
work at a pace suitable for you.

Is this class suitable for beginners?
Yes, this is a great beginner class, no bartending experience needed. It's also welcoming for more experienced home bartenders looking to sharpen their skills.
Is there an age requirement?
Yes, this is a 19+ class since you'll be working with and consuming alcohol. You must bring valid government-issued ID.
How long is the class?
This is a 90-minute class.
What will I actually make and learn?
You'll learn how to batch cocktails for parties, what a shrub is and how to make one, and the core techniques of shaking, stirring, and muddling. You'll mix and enjoy 3 different cocktails, with most components pre-made by the chef instructor so you can focus on the fun mixing and tasting part.
Can this class be made non-alcoholic?
The recipes taught can be made non alcoholic, our bartender will give you all the substitutes and provide them in class too.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
Just your government-issued ID, everything else, ingredients and equipment, is provided.
Will I get the recipes afterward?
Yes, recipes for all cocktails and their components are emailed to you either before or after the booking.
Is the studio accessible?
Classes may be held in our upstairs studio, which is accessible by stairs only. If you need accommodation, please email us in advance and we'll do our best to help. Our downstairs studio is wheelchair accessible but our table heights are higher than usual for cooking purposes. Please email us in advance to discuss if we can accommodate.
Do I need a safe ride home after class?
Yes, please plan for a safe ride home since you'll be consuming alcohol during class. Public transit, Uber or a designated driver are a good idea. We support responsible drinking.
